If you read the post here I figured out what was wrong with my camera. Not sure why my son had a basketball game on Super Bowl Sunday. But I guess not everyone likes the Super Bowl *shrug shoulders* I captured the picture(s) above and below from my son's game this past Sunday. I am finally getting better at not just snapping pictures. But actually capturing moments *pats on back*

Do your children play any sports? What did you do for Super Bowl Sunday? My men attended a Super Bowl party.
For my 30th Birthday my sister though it would be a great idea to goto New York. I was actually really excited about the trip. Even though I live so close to New York. I hardly ever go anymore.
I really wanted to bring my DSLR camera with me. The Mister was not trying to hear it, and to be honest, with all the walking we did, I was glad I actually left it behind. On our way to New York it was sort of a slushy mixture which I really wasn't trying to witness. You see, last year their was a blizzard on my birthday and I was snowed in.
I was so happy to see that the rain/snow mixture cleared up when we finally reached NY.

Since our time was really limited, I decided that I would wake up the next morning and visit my favorite store Zara.
Let's just say it was an epic fail. I mean I walked, and walked and could not find the store. Finally while in route to a restaurant I realized that we were near Zara or I at least was hoping so. The store was in the same exact location that I remember at Blogher. I was able to find so many great pieces for my son. With prices starting at as low as $4.99. YAY
Any staycay's in the works? have you found any good deals lately?
Hey: (waves hands) I hope you're having a wonderful day so far :). While looking on looking on Pinterest. I thought it would be cool to share with you guys some of my favorite shopping hacks I've found online. As many of you know, one of my goals this year is to improve on being a savvy, shopper. With that being said, I could not wait to share some of my frugal/savvy shopping hacks for this year. I hope you will find some of these hacks useful. I sure have!!
This past Sunday my son had another Basketball game. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to post "what I wore". I decided to keep this look very comfortable/simple. I had on very little makeup. My eyebrows filled in, a lippie, and eyeliner. I honestly just threw this look together. I honestly love this blazer, and I found these boots last year at my favorite consignment store. I am not an accessories type of lady. Thus the reason, you rarely ever see me with any on. It was my sons turn to capture this moment, LOL He's learning!

So I finally took the plunge and purchased Amazon Prime for me, my family. I absolutely love Amazon. However, at times would usually just purchase items to get to the free shipping offer and let's not mention how long some of those orders would take.
I've been hesitant about purchasing the member due to not purchasing from Amazon on a monthly basis and wasn't sure if it would be worth the investment. I've actually been researching the membership for almost a year. I love Prime music is commercial free, which means my Pandora is taking the backseat. I also love how you can possibly get one free Kindle book a month. How cool is that?!?!
I think I was also sold on the fact that you receive a $1 credit each time you opt not to go with the two-day shipping.(cha-change)
I was able to purchase the membership on sale for $73 ( it's usually $99) I'm not sure how I missed the last sale in September when the membership was on sale for $67. Let's just say I like a good deal and like to save my coins.
Plus, I've read somewhere that successful people have Amazon Prime memberships... (drops mic)
Anywho, I plan on using my Ebates when making purchases on Amazon to sweeten the deal. My referral link here
